Joan Collins has apparently made some pretty raunchy x-rated confessions about her ex partner Warren Beatty, to whom she was engaged in 1960.
The 90-year-old British actress – who is one of the last surviving stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood and who skyrocketed to international notoriety for her role in Dynasty – is widely known to have bedded numerous heartthrobs over her seven decades in the entertainment industry.
In fact, according to the Hollywood gossip train, some of those famous faces include Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and even Robert F. Kennedy.
Though, despite getting engaged to the then relatively unknown actor Warren Beatty in 1960, Collins reportedly confessed to her friend, per Radar Online, that he really wasn’t that great in bed.
Joan – who was made Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2015 for her services to charity – even went as far as to call her ex lover a “bore” under the sheets. Yikes…
According to the Golden Globe winner’s friend: “Maybe her expectations were too high, but she expected someone like him to be a great lover. Who wouldn’t? Goodness knows he’s had a lot of practice!”
Warren himself was a well-known lothario in the industry – having allegedly slept with numerous female celebrities like Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Cher, Barbra Streisand, Natalie Wood, Diane Keaton, Carly Simon, Goldie Hawn, and even Madonna.
Unauthorized biographer Peter Biskind even suggested that Warren was intimate with 12,775 women in his lifetime – something the Bonnie and Clyde actor insisted is completely untrue.
He addressed this in a 2016 interview with AARP Magazine, where he stated: “Think about it, sleeping with 12,775 people. That would mean not just that there were multiple people a day, but that there was no repetition.”
He then added: “Look, I never misled anyone. And… and I’m a nice guy.”
Though, despite earning a reputation for being a bit of a Playboy, it’s not only Joan who has something to say about Warren’s… ahem… sexual prowess. He even has a mention (albeit briefly) in a soon-to-be-released book about Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis – Jackie: Public, Private, Secret.
In it, Jacqueline is reported to have once said: “Oh, he’s fine. Men can only do so much, anyway,” per Page Six.
Sadly, the relationship between Joan and Warren barely lasted two years, as Joan recalled (via the Daily Mail): “It was a sad ending, but I knew that our relationship of almost two years was doomed. Marriage to Warren would never have lasted because he simply loved the ladies too much.”
She continued: “In the end, his list of conquests […] read like a Who’s Who of Sixties and Seventies glamour queens. You could say he became a legend, but he also became a joke. Indeed, he was often referred to as a phallus on legs.”
Well, there’s some information we didn’t know we needed!
