Jennifer Lopez has canceled her greatest hits summer tour to spend more time with her family, according to TMZ.
The 54-year-old performer was scheduled to hit the road in late June, but instead is choosing to stay home and spend time with family and friends.

Lopez took to her website to explain the difficult decision to her fans.
“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary,” she wrote.
“I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

Although there had been rumors of poor ticket sales, a source told the DailyMail that was a lie and had nothing to do with Lopez’s decision to cancel the tour.
“This was a very difficult decision made by Jennifer this week and she’s sorry to her fans.”

Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will automatically be refunded while those who purchased tickets through a third party will need to contact the point of purchase.
Wow. I definitely didn’t see that coming!
